About these terms

ShamAuto (shamauto.ie) is operated by Ihar Baikou trading as ShamAuto. By using the site you agree to these terms. ShamAuto is a marketplace that connects private sellers and dealers of used electric vehicles with buyers in Ireland. Listing is free.

Listings and conduct

• You may list a vehicle you are entitled to sell. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, including the car's details, price, condition and any battery State-of-Health you state. Listings must be genuine, lawful, and for battery-electric vehicles.
• You must not post false, misleading, infringing or unlawful content, or misuse the contact tools to send spam.
• We may remove a listing or suspend an account that breaches these terms.

Buying and selling

ShamAuto is an introduction platform only. We are not a party to any sale, we do not verify vehicles, and we do not handle payments. Any transaction, inspection and contract is strictly between the buyer and the seller. Always inspect a vehicle and verify its history before buying.

Dealer subscriptions and founding-dealer offer

• Listing is free for private sellers, with no fee and no commission.
• Dealers: every dealer who creates a dealer account during 2026 lists free until 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027 a monthly subscription applies, priced by tier (Starter EUR 49, Standard EUR 99, Pro EUR 199, Unlimited EUR 299 per month).
• Founding-dealer discount: the first 30 dealer accounts created on shamauto.ie, ranked by account creation time, receive a 50% discount on their tier price for life. The discount applies for as long as the dealer account remains continuously subscribed; it does not transfer to another account and ceases if the account is cancelled and later re-subscribed. Dealers who joined in 2026 but are outside the first 30 pay the standard tier price from 2027.
• Subscriptions are month-to-month; a dealer may cancel at any time.
• Prices are shown as flat figures. The operator is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged; if the operator becomes VAT-registered, prices will state their VAT treatment in a consistent format.
• ShamAuto may change standard (non-founding) pricing in future, with reasonable notice.

Battery State-of-Health and range figures

SoH figures are provided by sellers (self-declared, or "verified" when a diagnostic screenshot is supplied) and are indicative, not a warranty. Real-world range estimates shown on the site are calculated as WLTP minus 17% as a cautious like-for-like guide; actual range varies with conditions.

Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Ihar Baikou trading as ShamAuto is not liable for the accuracy of listings, the conduct of users, or any loss arising from a transaction between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
